Conditions to Meet

You need to enroll in a higher educational program at a publicly accredited educational institution in Denmark.

You must have sufficient funds to look after your daily expenses, accommodation, living costs, and travel expenses during your stay in Denmark.

You must have proficiency in any of the languages among Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, English, or German.
Work During Study
Together with your residence permit for job seeking you have been granted a limited work permit. The permit allows you to work 20 hours a week and full-time in June, July, and August.
If you want to work more hours than allowed by your limited work permit, you can apply for a work permit without limitations.
After Graduation
You can apply for a job-seeking residence permit for up to 3 years if you have a valid residence permit based on your educational program and there are less than 4 months left of your residence permit.
It is a requirement that you have completed a Danish higher educational program at one of the following levels:
